Flash Fiction: Bird Woman

On July 5th, my 500-word flash piece "Bird Woman" will be up at Burningword Lit! I'm excited to finally see this piece in print, which grew (or perhaps, shrank) out of a longer story I worked on during my MFA program at Bennington. I feel like this newest version of it captures the essence of the story I wanted to tell, in briefest possible form.
